Procedure of Application Chinese Government Scholarship and Admission at SJTUSM

Step 1

International students should apply to the local Chinese Embassy or Consulate for Chinese Government Scholarship and get the Certificate of Sponsorship.

Step 2

Scholarship holders then apply to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine for study. Those who are admitted will get the Pre-admission Notice provided by the school of medicine.

Step 3

Applicants should then register at http://laihua.csc.edu.cn and finish the online application. Meanwhile, all the application documents, together with the Pre-admission Notice by the school of medicine, should be submitted to the China Scholarship Council (CSC).

Step 4

CSC will send the applicants’ documents to SJTUSM according to the students’ first choice.

Step 5

Upon receiving the applicants’ documents from CSC, SJTUSM will start the admission procedures. The original Admission Notice and JW201 Visa Application Form will be issued by SJTUSM and sent to the applicants by CSC.
