Biography

Dr. Haiwen Zhou, MD, chief physician, professor and graduate supervisor of the Department of Oral Mucosa, Ninth People's Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine.

Her research focuses on the prevention and treatment of precancerous lesions of the oral mucosa and the regeneration of oral mucosal tissue.

She has rich clinical work experience, mainly engaged in the clinical diagnosis, treatment, teaching and scientific research of oral mucosal diseases and related dental endodontics and periodontal diseases.

She studied and worked at the University of Michigan and the University of Singapore School of Dentistry, and opened the first oral mucosal specialist clinic at the National University Hospital of Singapore. She has a certificate of the treatment of diseases by combining traditional Chinese and Western medicine, issued by the Shanghai Municipal Health Commission. She is the Member of the International Dental Association (IADR), Singapore Dental Association and TESI Society.

She has published nearly a hundred of research papers. She has presided over or participated in a number of research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the National High-tech Research and Development Program.

She has participated in the compilation of more than ten monographs such as "Oral Mucosal Disease" textbook, "Analysis of Difficult Cases of Oral Mucosal Disease", and "Theory and Practice of Tissue Engineering".

She has 2 authorized invention patents, 1 authorized computer software copyright, and 2 authorized utility model patents.

She is standing member of the Council of Shanghai Society of Integrative Medicine, member of the Professional Committee of Oral Mucosal Diseases of the Chinese Stomatological Association, member of the Standing Committee of the Professional Committee of Oral Mucosal Diseases of Shanghai Stomatology Association, member of the Standing Committee of the Professional Committee of Oral Integrative Medicine of Shanghai Stomatology Association, member of the National Natural Science Foundation of China Review Expert Group, member of the Expert Group of Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission, member of the National Medical Examination Center Proposition Expert Group Dissertation review expert of the Ministry of Education. She is reviewer of a number of domestic and foreign magazines.
