上海市儿科医学研究所简介
上海市儿科医学研究所成立于1978年10月,是上海市第一家以出生缺陷早期诊断、治疗和预防为研究重点,兼具医疗与教学的医学研究机构。1983年创办了国内重要儿科学术期刊之一《临床儿科杂志》。目前设有小儿内分泌遗传代谢病、小儿消化与营养、围产医学、免疫/肿瘤、小儿心血管、儿童保健等研究室,拥有生化检测、分子诊断、细胞遗传等完善的科研和临床检测平台。
40年来,儿研所瞄准前沿、凝练方向、构筑平台、吸引人才,经过几代儿科所人的辛勤耕耘、不断创新,取得了一系列丰硕成果。在小儿消化与营养研究方面,重点开展危重新生儿营养支持、小儿肠道衰竭的肠康复治疗、小儿先天性消化道畸形诊治等基础和临床研究。成功研制国内首个小儿专用型静脉用氨基酸制剂、在国际上首次确定危重新生儿营养支持的适宜能量需要值、建立了危重新生儿静脉营养最优化输注途径、国内率先建立新生儿短肠综合征(SBS)肠康复治疗方案、制定我国首部《中国新生儿营养支持临床应用指南》等,并荣获国家科技进步奖二等奖。在小儿内分泌遗传代谢研究方面,在国内率先建立了串联质谱遗传代谢病检测技术,发展了一系列生化检测和基因突变检测技术,应用于临床诊断和产前诊断,产前诊断的遗传代谢病种类达56种;率先开展新生儿筛查,建立了苯丙酮尿症、先天性肾上腺皮质增生症、甲基丙二酸血症等的新生儿遗传代谢病筛查系统,构建了诊断、治疗和推广为一体的综合服务体系,将遗传病早期筛查和临床诊治前移至新生儿期,有效推动了遗传代谢病产前诊断的发展,并荣获第十届宋庆龄儿科医学奖。
儿研所小儿消化与营养研究室2011年获批建设上海市小儿消化与营养重点实验室,小儿内分泌遗传代谢病专业是国家“211”工程重点学科“儿科学”和上海市教委重点学科“儿科学”的重点专业之一,是上海市教委“遗传代谢病研究基地”。近10年来,儿研所承担国家地方科研项目153项;以第一作者或通讯作者发表论文472篇,其中SCI收录论文170余篇,影响因子累计425;获得科技奖励8项。获得上海市优秀学科带头人、上海市医学领军人才、上海市卫生系统百人计划等25人次,培养博士后7名,培养博士硕士研究生200余名。
Shanghai institute for pediatric research
Shanghai institute for pediatric research was established in October 1978, which was the first medical research institution that focuses on the early diagnosis, treatment and prevention of birth defects in Shanghai and combines medicine and teaching. In 1983, Shanghai institute for pediatric research founded the journal of clinical pediatrics, one of the major domestic pediatric journals. At present, it has set up the research institutes for pediatric inherited endocrine and metabolic diseases, pediatric digestion and nutrition, perinatal medicine, immunology/tumor, pediatric cardiovascular diseases, children's health care, etc., with a complete scientific research and clinical testing platform of biochemical detection, molecular diagnosis and cytogenetics.
In the past 40 years, the institute has targeted at the frontiers of biomedical research, focused directions on pediatric diseases, etablished a multidisciplinary platform and attracted a group of clinical and scientific talents. With the efforts of several generations of peditricians and researchers, a series of achievements have been accomplished. In pediatric digestion and nutrition, the focus is on basic and clinical research of critical neonatal nutritional support, intestinal rehabilitation for pediatric intestinal failure, and diagnosis and treatment of congenital gastrointestinal malformations. The institute has successfully developed the first pediatric-specific intravenous amino acid preparation, determined the appropriate energy needs of nutritional support for the critically ill neonates for the first time in the world, established an optimal infusion route of neonatal venous nutrition, and established the first domestic neonatal short bowel syndrome (SBS) intestinal rehabilitation treatment program. The institute drafted the first "Clinical Application Guide of Newborn Nutritional Support" in China, and this work won the National Science and Technology Progress Award. In the area of pediatric endocrinology and inherited metabolism disorders, the institute established the first tandem mass spectrometry platform for detection of genetic metabolic disorders in China, developed a series of biochemical and genetic technology for clinical diagnosis of genetic metabolic diseases, and took the lead in newborn screening. Currently a screening system for neonatal genetic metabolic diseases such as phenylketonuria, congenital adrenal hyperplasia, and methylmalonic acidemia has been established. This integrated service system included early screening and clinical diagnosis and treatment of genetic diseases at the neonatal period, and effectively promoted the development of prenatal diagnosis of genetic metabolic diseases. This work won the 10th Soong Ching Ling Pediatric Medicine Award.
The Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition Laboratory of Shanghai institute for pediatric research was approved to establish as Shanghai Key Laboratory in 2011. Moreover, the pediatric inherited endocrine and metabolic diseases is one of the key disciplines of the national "211" project and the Shanghai Education Commission's key discipline. It is also the "Inherited Metabolic Disease Research Base" of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission. In recent 10 years, the Institute has undertaken 153 national research projects; published 472 papers by the first author or correspondent author, including more than 170 papers in SCI with a total impact factor of 425; and 8 science and technology awards. A total of 25 staffs obtained Shanghai Outstanding Academic Leaders, Shanghai Leading Medical talents and Hundred People’s Plan of Shanghai health system. In addition, Shanghai institute for pediatric research has trained 7 postdoctoral fellows and more than 200 doctoral and postgraduate students.
