仁济医院男科工作始于20世纪60年代，是我国最早开展男科工作的临床机构之一。2001年12月由上海市卫生局正式批准成立“上海市男科学研究所”，也是国内最早的男科学专业研究单位之一。形成集男科疾病临床诊疗与科研于一体的临床型研究所，同时也是国内设施功能完善的男科临床培训基地。
仁济男科分为四大临床亚专业组，包括男性不育、性功能障碍、男性生殖器整形及尿道重建、男性生殖肿瘤及微创手术。（1）男性不育亚专业：以男性生育力评估，包括孕前检查、不育症的诊疗、精液检测标准化为特色。擅长输精管道重建术、显微取精术、精索静脉曲张显微结扎等各类男科显微手术。（2）性功能障碍亚专业：以男性性功能康复为特色，已形成完整的勃起功能障碍、早泄等主客观评估方案。在国内率先开展阴茎体外冲击波治疗，与丹麦再生医学团队合作，探索自体干细胞治疗ED的临床研究，擅长ED个体化治疗、阴茎假体手术、盆腔肿瘤术后勃起功能康复等。（3）男性生殖器整形及尿道重建亚专业：擅长阴茎、阴囊整形修复及尿道下裂、尿道狭窄等尿道重建手术。（4）男性生殖肿瘤及微创手术亚专业，擅长睾丸肿瘤、阴茎癌规范化治疗、腹腔镜下前列腺癌根治术、腹股沟/盆腔淋巴清扫术等微创手术。

The work of the Department of Andrology of Renji Hospital and Shanghai Institute of Andrology began in the 1960s, which was one of the earliest clinical institutions in China. The Shanghai Municipal Health Bureau officially approved the establishment of the Shanghai Institute of Andrology in December 2001 after the efforts of several generations of experts and professors. It forms a clinical research institute that integrates clinical diagnosis and treatment of male healthy, and is also an Andrology clinical training base with perfect functions in China.
The Andrology Department of Renji Hospital is divided into four clinical sub-professional groups, including male infertility, sexual dysfunction, male genital plastic surgery and urethra reconstruction, male reproductive tumors and minimally invasive surgery. The clinical features include male fertility assessment, various types of male microsurgery, erectile dysfunction personalized treatment (low intensity extracorporeal shock wave therapy, autologous stem cell therapy, penile prosthesis implantation etc.), male external genital and urethra regeneration and reconstruction, male reproductive tumors and minimally invasive surgery.
