Research Interests

The research in my laboratory focuses on the biology of signal transduction mediated by the intracellular protein kinase network such as the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) cascades and the mammalian target of rapamycine (mTOR) pathway in gut immune responses and blood vessel function/development. Our current studies have focused on the biological roles and regulatory mechanisms of these kinase pathways in intestinal mesenchymal stromal cells, macrophages, T and innate lymphocytes.
