The field of  Immunobiology is experiencing rapid development from basic research  into clinical translation. To advance our understanding of immune  metabolic diseases from the perspective of the immune system and to  harness its potential to improve human health, Shanghai Jiao Tong  University School of Medicine and Yale University have joined forces to  establish the SJTUSM-Yale Institute for Immune Metabolism （SYIIM）, with Richard Flavell and Bing Su serving as its founding directors.
