Research Interests
Our lab is interested in how olfactory system, especially the TAAR (Trace Amine-Associated Receptor) subsystem is employed by animals to elicit innate behavioral responses critical for their survival and reproduction. We are also studying molecular mechanisms of singular olfactory receptor gene choice and expression in olfactory sensory neurons. In addition, we are interested in molecular and cellular mechanisms controlling olfactory stem cell differentiation.
