On April 8, 2023, the opening ceremony of "Yangtze River Autism Research Center" and Child Autism Forum jointly organized by Songjiang Research Institute of Jiaotong University Medical School and Xinhua Hospital, Ministry of Education and Shanghai Key Laboratory of Environment and Child Health were successfully held.

Academician Duan Shumin placed high hopes and exhortions on the development of Yangtze River Delta Autism Research Center, and encouraged everyone to continue to promote the innovation and development of autism related child developmental brain diseases, and help Shanghai and China's "brain Program".

Sahakian warmly congratulate the establishment of the Yangtze River Delta Autism Research Center and hope that under the leadership of Academician Duan Shumin, the research Center will further promote the research of autism and developmental brain diseases of children in the Yangtze River Delta region and even the whole country, and help the smooth implementation of China's "Brain Program".

President Zheng congratulated the establishment of the Yangtze River Delta Autism Research Center and hoped that the combination of the Ministry of Education and Shanghai Key Laboratory of Environment and Child Health and Songjiang Research Institute would make continuous efforts and continue to exert their clinical advantages and research capabilities to reveal the causes of children's neurodevelopmental disorders, improve the diagnosis and treatment of children's brain diseases, and benefit the healthy development of Chinese children.
