Biography
Dr. Shaoyi Wang graduated from the College of Stomatology, Henan Medical University in 1990. Following graduation, he worked in Henan Jiaozuo stomatological hospital as an oral surgery practitioner until 2005 when he commenced his postgraduate training in oral surgery at Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, College of Stomatology Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He graduated in 2010 and explored mandibular kinematics, and participates in clinical and translational research in implant dentistry, including computer guided implant surgery, implant biomechanics, fit analysis, and occlusion research. In additional, his interests also include mucoceles, ranulas and Medication-Related Osteonecrosis of the jaw (MRONJ).
His research focuses on jawbone regeneration, implant dentistry, salivary cyst treatment, medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw (MRONJ). Traditional Chinese medicine treatment of oral and maxillofacial chronic diseases.
He presided over the Natural Science Foundation of China and the foundation of Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, won the science and technology progress award of the Ministry of Education and the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress award, and published a series of papers.
