Biography

Professor Ting Jiao is the deputy director, chief physician and doctoral supervisor of the Department of Prosthodontics，Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. She got the international clinical fellowship of the American Cancer Association (Mayer international fellowship), finished the resident program of Maxillofacial Prosthodontics in UCLA, and obtained the qualification certificate of the American Maxillofacial Prosthetic specialist. She is now a standing committee member of Prosthodontics and Maxillofacial Prosthodontics special committee of the Chinese Stomatological Association, member of the expert group of the International Dental Implant Society (ITI fellow), standing committee member of Prosthodontics special committee and the oral implant special committee of the Shanghai Stomatological Association.

She has been responsible for and participated in 2 National Natural Science Foundation projects and 7 municipal bureau level projects. Her research is focus on bone regeneration and digital technique for prosthodontics and implantology. She has also published more than 100 papers as the first/corresponding author, including more than 20 SCI manuscripts and 3 invention patents. She is the manuscript reviewer of BMC, IJOMS, and an expert of ICP scientific research review.

Clinically, she is good at the treatment of complex cases with multi-disciplinary combination of dental aesthetic restoration, occlusal reconstruction, implant restoration, periodontal disease and orthodontics. She is good at the cutting-edge technology of digital oral restoration and implant, especially for the oral function reconstruction of patients with cleft lip and palate, trauma and tumor before and after surgery.
