Biography

Dr. Hongbo Yu, Professor, Chief physician, master supervisor. Department of Oral and Craniomaxillofacial Surgery, Ninth People's Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine; College of Stomatology, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research focuses on maxillofacial deformity correction, defect reconstruction; craniofacial development, regeneration and biomaterials; and computer assisted surgery.

Now he is a lecturer of International AO / ASIF Association, member of Oral Biomedical Committee of Chinese Stomatological Association and Digital Medicine Committee of Chinese Medical Association, member of the standing committee of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, Shanghai Stomatological Association.

He has published More than 90 papers, among of them 55 papers have been included in SCI, and 7 monographs have been published. He presided 12 scientific research projects supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China, Ministry of Education and etc. He won the second prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award and the second prize of Huaxia Medical award respectively. At the same time, he has been supported by Shanghai Pujiang talent plan and Shanghai Jiao Tong University Morningstar young scholars award program.
