Biography

Dr. Lingyue Shen, associate chief physician of Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Head and Neck Oncology, Shanghai Ninth People’s Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University; College of Stomatology, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Member of Laser Beauty Branch of Chinese Plastic Surgery Association; Member of Oral Laser Special Committee of Chinese Stomatological Association; Youth Member of Continuing Education Branch of Chinese Plastic Surgery Association. 

Her specialty direction is the application of laser in maxillofacial surgery. In the treatment of hemangioma and vascular malformations, laser application in skin rejuvenation, she has accumulated rich clinical experience. She focuses on the photodynamic treatment of oral leukoplakia, leukoplakia carcinogenesis and early tumors. Solid tumors are known to have hypoxic microenvironment in which the limited degree of O₂ poses a significant obstacle to clinical application of PDT. Aiming at this problem, with the support of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, she put forward and developed several novel PDT systems with O₂ self-sufficiency over traditional PDT agents for overcoming tumor hypoxia. 

Scientific research projects: From 2006 to 2009, participated in the national "multi-center clinical trial of the effectiveness and safety of hemmofen for injection" (phase II 2006-07, phase III 2008-09).From 2012 to 2015, members of the project group of "Preparation of dihydroporphyrin nanophosensitizer and Photodynamic Safety of nude mice" of Shanghai Science and Technology Commission. From 2012 to now, members of the team of the project "Research on the Establishment of Target Organs of Oral and Maxillofacial Head and neck angioma" of Shanghai Science and Technology Commission. From 2016 to 2019, head of Medical Engineering Cross Youth Fund of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Head of Youth Project of National Natural Science Foundation in 2019.
