Biography

Tian Zhen, DDS, PhD, Deputy head, Department of Oral Pathology, Shanghai Ninth People’s hospital.Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine; College of Stomatology, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Standing committee member of oral pathology professional committee of Chinese Stomatological Association, member of Basic Stomatological Research Committee of Shanghai Stomatological Association, and member of Oral Mucosal Disease Committee of Shanghai Stomatological Association. She is a practicing pathologist of oral and maxillofacial disorders with over 25 years of clinical experience. Her research interests are about molecular markers to improve diagnostic accuracy in routine pathological practice and salivary gland cancer biomarkers that can be used for prognosis and target therapy. As the first author，corresponding author or co-author, she has authored about 50 papers indexed by SCI. And She has published 8 book chapters in the fields of oral and maxillofacial diseases. She has participated in 4 national science foundation projects and 5 provincial and ministerial scientific research projects, either as a principle investigator or as an important collaborator. She is a reviewer of several stomatological/pathology journals as well as a reviewer for national dissertation.
