Dr. Wang’s research focuses on maternal and infant nursing, and nursing education. She was funded by many national and provincial level projects and published 26 papers with first or corresponding authorship, including 7 SCI papers. 

Dr. Wang is themember of the Committee of Obstetric Nursing of Shanghai Nursing Society, the member of the Committee of Nursing of Chinese Eugenics Association, the key member of the (Synergy) Innovation Team of the School of Nursing  of Shanghai Jiaotong University, and the editorial board member of Nursing Practice and Research and Chinese Journal of integrated Nursing. She is the co-editor of five textbooks published by People's Health Publishing House, etc. 

Dr. Wang has been awarded the Shanghai Teaching Achievement Award, the Shanghai Jiaotong University Teaching Achievement Award, and the Science and Technology Award of the Shanghai Preventive Medicine Association. 

Introduction of Fundamental Nursing Faculty

There are seven faculty members, one senior member, two associate members, and four intermediate members in Fundamental Nursing Faculty. The faculty is responsible for compulsory and elective courses for undergraduates, including Nursing Ethics, Human Growth and Development, Fundamentals of Nursing II, Health Assessment I, Maternal and Infant Nursing, Nursing Education, Nursing Research, Scientific Thinking, Career Planning, and Research and Practice in Acute and Critical Care, Oncology Specialty Nursing, and Advanced Maternal and Child Nursing for postgraduate students. In the past 5 years, the faculty has undertaken four national and provincial level projects, with a total funding of about 800,000 RMB, and a total funding of about 1.1 million RMB for talent projects. 

In the past 5 years, they have published more than 50 papers in authoritative journals as first or corresponding authors, including nearly 20 SCI papers (9 in JCR 1, 7 with IF>3, 2 with IF>5). They have won the second prize of National Excellent Teaching Material, the second prize of Shanghai Teaching Achievement Award, the third prize of Science and Technology Award of Shanghai Preventive Medicine Association, Shanghai Outstanding Nursing Worker, Shanghai Jiao Tong University Teaching and Education Award, "Civilized Team" of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, etc.
