OVIERVIEW
ZHANG Ying RN, PhD, Associate Professor, mentoring for master students interested in family care of children with chronic conditions and pediatric nursing. She was graduated from a joint doctoral nursing program in Peking Medical University and Johns Hopkins University. She served as Division Chair for the clinical teaching and research division since 2021. She is the Chief of the fundamental nursing teaching team in the School of Medicine, a member of Research Ethics Committee of the School of Public Health and Nursing, a member of Academic Committee of the School of Nursing, Deputy Director of Chinese Hospital Developmental Institute-Nursing Innovative Research Division. The primary focus of Zhang’s program of research is the family care of children with a chronic condition, and of a premature infant. Her research has involved longitudinal or mixed-methods designs and she has experience in the collection and analysis dyadic data. Additionally, her research team also focuses on clinical, maternal or family-related data collection of premature infants from NICU to family, to explore their influence of the growth and development of premature infants.
