The consortium aims to attract domestic experts and scholars in the field of One Health, jointly conduct research on One Health technology, theory, law and industry, explore the theoretical and technical system of One Health, and promote the implementation of the concept of One Health in China. On November 2, the first general meeting of CCOH was held and Shanghai Jiao Tong University was elected as the director institution. On November 3, the 6th International One Health Day, the official account of CCOH was launched.
Focusing on releasing cutting-edge knowledge in the field of One Health, CCOH is committed to building a top academic platform for the promotion of information exchange, and creating a new pattern of One Health development in China through multi-departmental, multi-regional and multi-disciplinary cooperation. On December 1, FAO, OIE, UNEP and WHO One Health High Level Expert Panel issued a statement containing the latest definition and interpretation of One Health. CCOH translated it immediately and released it on its official account the next day, which received a warm and wide response, involving all provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities and special administrative regions in China. At present, CCOH has 18 member institutions.
