Research Interest: Basic and application research on Biosensors and Molecular Diagnosis
Dr. Qinqin Hu received her Ph.D. degree in biosystem engineering from Zhejiang University in 2016 and completed postdoctoral training before serving as an assistant professor at the Institutes of Biomedicine, Fudan University (2016-2021). Currently, she is an associate professor at School of Global Health, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine (2022-present). Her expertise lies in developing biosensors and screening functional nucleic acids, especially focusing on 1) novel molecular diagnostic techniques (CRISPR/Cas-based) and nano/optical biosensors for food hazards surveillance and rapid disease diagnosis; 2) In vitro selection of functional nucleic acids including DNAzymes or aptamers for the identification of potential disease-related molecules. Dr. Hu has published over 30 papers (total IF > 200), including 6 papers with impact factors over 10 and more than 1500 citations (ESI = 1). She has also published two academic books and authorized or applied 6 patents. Additionally, she has led 6 research projects including the General Program and Youth Program supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
